About Me

I’m a Mathematics undergraduate with strong skills in statistical analysis, mathematical modelling, and programming (Python, R, MATLAB). Passionate about leveraging quantitative methods to solve complex problems in trading and commodities markets. Eager to apply mathematical expertise and analytical skills to drive innovative financial strategies in dynamic environments.

Education

I am currently pursuing a bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham, where I am focusing on advanced statistics, differential equations, and numerical methods. My modules include vectors, geometry and linear algebra, real analysis, statistics, mechanics, mathematical modelling, and Matlab. This year, I am studying more advanced statistics, differential equations, complex analysis, numerical methods and programming, multivariable and vector analysis, and linear programming.

Skills & Expertise

My technical toolkit includes proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), R, and MatLab. I have experience with algorithm development, and large-scale data manipulation. I am adept at building and backtesting quantitative models, with a keen eye for statistical rigor and practical application.

Projects & Experience

Through personal projects, I have developed a simple moving average using live stock data, created a simple price predictor and created smaller non finance related personal projects.
